Waiting

I'm coming to find out that I'm not very good at keeping this blog updated! Anyway....a lot has happend since February. I have recently found out several different things over the summer. On Monday, July 6 I will be having my first surgery. They are going to take my gallbladder out because its functioning at only 26% instead of 75-80%. Needless to say it's not working all that well.

I also found out possible reasons why I have lost 2 pregnancies at five months. God gave me such a terrific person as a doctor! After I had my yearly exam she ended up calling me in the evening and told me how the Lord works. She said that she was going to a conference in Branson and the man speaking was a specialist of neonatal losses. Well she told me that she was going to talk to him for me. So on Monday my doctor did call me. She said that the specialist said that I have something called antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APS). This is what is causing my blood to clot in my placenta. I guess it kept happening at five months because the baby was growing and my body didn't recognize it so it kept clotting up the veins and arteries in the placenta.

The cure you might ask....well.....I will have to take aspirin before I get pregnant. Then when I do get pregnant I will have to give myself 2 shots of heparin a day. Don't know how I'm going to do it...but anything to have a baby. God keeps his promises. It may not be the way we see it or want it to happen but He is faithful to His children. Praise God!

  1. You are exactly right that God keeps His promises. He promises us children Deuteronomy 7:13,Exodus 23:25,26; Malachi 3:10-11; 3 John 2; Galatians 3:13,14,29; and also that He watches over His word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12 and to give us the desires of our heart Psalm 37:4..(I believe that if you are following Jesus then the desires in your heart will have been placed there by God and then we have the promise in 1 John 5:14 and 15 which says--- And this is the conficence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Since God's word is His will as long as you are asking for something that he "agrees" with you are covered!

A book you may be interested in is "Supernatural Childbirth" experiencing the promises of God concerning conception and delivery, by Jackie Mize. Hearing the faith message from church at RCC and reading this book really renewed our minds to the word of God concerning these issues.

I'm glad that you were able to find out the information you found out from the specialist.

I'll be interceding for you and Andrew.
